The ARC recently revised the policy on Survival Surgery in USDA Covered Species. The policy was reorganized to better differentiate overall policy requirements, individual responsibilities, and specific pre- / intra- / and post-operative expectations.
If your lab works with USDA-regulated species, we encourage you to closely review the revised policy and discuss it with your research team. All ARC policies are available on the ARC website.
