The IBC has developed a new Visitor Policy, available at the IBC Visitor Policy web page. The objective of this policy is to identify the conditions under which visitors (as defined in the Policy) are allowed to perform academic activity or conduct research or teaching activities in a UCLA laboratory, greenhouse, clinic area, or animal facility in which biohazardous materials and/or recombinant/synthetic nucleic acids are used.
Please note that there are 3 documents associated with this Policy, and available at the above URL, that must be completed when you anticipate a visitor:
- IBC Visitor Training Waiver Application
- IBC Visitor Attestation
- Laboratory-Specific Visitor Training Checklist
Please contact the IBC Administrative Staff (ibc@research.ucla.edu or 310-794-0262) with any questions and concerns.
